Train To Reign is a registered nonprofit Christian organization providing structured, outcome-focused healing and discipleship programs designed to address the growing mental, emotional, and spiritual health needs of individuals and communities. Our work is led by ordained pastors, pastoral counselors, pastoral therapists, and trained life coaches, and delivered through immersive retreats, long-term discipleship pathways, and relational care networks. Grant funding directly supports program delivery, participant scholarships, trained staff, and sustainable infrastructure. We are committed to measurable transformation, organizational accountability, and long-term impact, equipping individuals to return to their families and communities healthier, more resilient, and purpose-driven.
WHY THE NAME?
TRAIN TO REIGN exists because we believe The Gospel is not only about forgiveness, it is about transformation (Rom. 12:2). From the very beginning, humanity was created with purpose, dignity, and responsibility.“
Let us make man in our image… and let them have dominion.” (Genesis 1:26)
To "have dominion" means God intended humanity to have His authority to REIGN in His name and for His Glory. We were made to live under God’s loving rule and to reflect His goodness into the world. Not to dominate. Not to strive. But to REIGN for good, in humility, wisdom, and love.
Yet something broke. Humanity pulled its life out from under God’s care. Fear replaced trust. Desire replaced discernment in the presence of a loving Father. Death began to REIGN.
Jesus did not come only to deal with sin. He came announcing a Kingdom.
“Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” (Matthew 4:17)
The Kingdom of God is not far away. It is not reserved for the afterlife. It is the present, active REIGN of God made available through Jesus Christ. And Scripture makes a staggering claim.“Those who receive the abundance of grace… will REIGN in life through the one man Jesus Christ.” (Romans 5:17) Grace is not just pardon. Grace is God acting in our lives, empowering us to live the life we were always meant to live.
This is why discipleship matters. REIGNing does not happen by accident. It is learned. Formed. Practiced.
Jesus invited ordinary people to follow Him, not simply to believe certain truths, but to learn how to live without fear, without hurry, and without the need to control. He taught His followers how to live anchored in the Father’s care, free from the tyranny of self-rule. This is eternal life, not something that begins after death, but a life that begins now.
“Your life is hidden with Christ in God.” (Colossians 3:3)
TRAIN TO REIGN exists to help people recover this "hidden" life.
We believe healing is possible.
We believe freedom is learned from the truth originating from scripture.
We believe the human heart can be restored.
We believe men and women can be TRAINed to live under God’s Kingdom and to REIGN well in their own lives.
We believe this is obtained not through striving or performance but through grace, formation, and loving submission & obedience to disciplines given from the Father through the work Christ and made possible through the Grace and Power of the Holy Spirit. One day, Scripture says, God’s people will REIGN with Him forever.
“They will REIGN forever and ever.” (Revelation 22:5)
We TRAIN now for the life in which we will live REIGNing forever. TRAIN To REIGN is an invitation to step out of a small gospel story and into formation that enables one to radiate the glorified presence of Jesus Christ in the world today (Colossians 1:15), out of fear and into trust, out of chaos and into Kingdom life.
This is why we TRAIN.
This is why we seek first His kingdom (Matt. 6:33) to become whole and healed.
This is why we disciple and are discipled.
This is TRAIN TO REIGN.
